First Baptist Church has had a Mixed Bowling League for over thirty years, with two men and two women on each team. They bowl every other Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Bowling Lanes in Fairfield. The season began in September and ends April 18, with their Bowling Banquet. It provides a great time of fun and fellowship with the other teams. There will be sign-ups in June for September, 1998, league.

This is the second season for our Men's Softball league. They will be playing at the Pine Hill ball fields off of Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, each Tuesday evening. Byron Arnold and Michael Phillips will be co-coaching this year. We have a lot of talent on our team, but it still takes support from the fans to make it in the "Win" column.

Talk about Team Spirit and determination, and you have the Ladies' Softball Team of First Baptist Church.

They play at Pine Hill ball fields on Tuesdays, with game times each week at 6:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. (The same time as our Men's Team.) This is the first year that the Ladies will be playing "under lights." We will publish the schedules as soon as we have them so that the fans can be there to cheer them to victory.
